Model A Ford Engine Specifications and KR Wilson engine stand.
We have mounted a 1929 Model A engine on one of our KR Wilson engine stands. The engine is gutted to keep the project neat and clean and easier…LOL. I used the Ford green on most parts but seems they do not make the spray green any more. So, we have a two-tone green paint job. Not much to fret about I think…how many people have a Model A engine mounted on an original KR Wilson engine stand. Right? Same for many of the bolts. As time permits I’ll swap out the modern bolts for the correct bolt and washer sets.
The engine is a L-head inline four with 200.5 cubic inches. 40 HP. Fuel consumption was about 25 miles per gallon. They say top speed was 65 mph ? That would scare the s..t out of me.

We pressure cleaned and repainted the stand, cast base with wheels, tool plate and original Model A engine adapter. All original parts….how Kool ?
As always…thank you for stopping in at VintageModelA.com
